The Herndon RFC Arsenal flew south for the winter and took a break from the snow and freezing temperatures in Northern Virginia for the warm and sunny climate of South Florida in order to compete in the Orange Classic International Tournament during the last week of 2009. The Orange Classic is a major college showcase for players and the Arsenal took full advantage of the opportunity by winning their six-team bracket, going undefeated and surrendering only one goal versus teams from Ohio, New Jersey and Texas.
