Mar 22, 2009 The RFC 93 team has returned from the Ultimate Spring Kickoff Cup in Long Island, New York. Needless to say the 93's showed they can more than compete. The 93's competing in the Elite bracket put away two out of the three teams they faced, losing only to the New York State Cup Champion Commack 93 team. By far the most competitive tournament the 93's have competed in thus far, they showed character in defeating two quality teams. The National Champion NJ Gunners only managed to win one game in this tournament, showing the quality of teams participating.
Truly a character building weekend, with the highlight being Game 3. The 93's came back from being dominated for the first 10 minutes and a quick goal by the opponents in the opening moments. Once gaining their composure, RFC controlled the remainder of the game as they began to settle into the style of play they are training to develop. With a final score of 2-1, RFC left New York on a "High Note", continuing on a positive path toward being the "BEST".
RFC looks very confidently toward competing in the Baltimore March Madness Tournament, looking for nothing but success. Stay tuned for the results of this and the first few weeks of the RFC 93 Colonial League Schedule, as the 93 team continues to find their footing.

RFC 93 closed the 2010 summer season winning the Dulles National Tournament at Herndon High School in Herndon VA.

RFC 93 traveled to the Kirkwood Soccer Complex Saturday, May 9th, 2010 to capture the Region 1 Colonial League Championship.
